Molecule Motosports OverBilt Skid Plates for KTM/HQV/GG
The OverBilt Skid Plate is Molecule’s heavy duty option for riders who regularly push their bike into extreme terrain. It is built for high impact abuse, blunt rock strikes, and riders who prefer maximum durability over saving a few pounds. Ideal for hard enduro, rally, extreme rock riding, or riders who want maximum margin and do not mind extra weight.
Made from billet UHMW, these plates offer superior wear resistance compared to aluminum and even carbon steel. This material won’t crack, puncture, or let you down and, better yet, it is self lubricating, helping you slide over obstacles effortlessly. Do not compare this to HDPE or aluminum. UHMW is lighter, slides better, and holds its shape.
OverBilt upgrades include:
- 50% thicker UHMW for increased impact resistance (3/8″ or 9.5 mm thick)
- Molecule’s stainless steel bushings included as standard
- Improved coverage around rear bushings to reduce snagging and damage
- Oversized front washers for increased pullout resistance
