“This is the only tool that should be used on Nikasil or Electrofusion plated cylinders. Ball hones and stone hones should NEVER be used on plated cylinders. They will do extreme damage to the plating. This tool does NOT apply a cross-hatch finish, it just removes microscopic peaks and scuffs and removes oil and carbon deposits.
