- Migrations: FWF oil never migrates. Because it dries to a more grease-like consistency, it stays put. It will never gravity-drain out like the competition, and it remains perfectly in place for those who like to pre-oil their filters and bag them for later use; there’s no need to squeeze/knead the filter to re-distribute the oil before installation.
- What about “Tack”?: Tacky air filter oil is actually bad because it encourages dirt to stick right on the surface, which makes a crust that inhibits air flow. A sticky filter oil is just a magnet for dust; FWF oil’s grease-like texture is the perfect consistency for keeping your filter filtering properly and ensuring your air boot and engine stay dirt-free!
- Water and wash-out: Because FWF Oil is a petroleum oil, water doesn’t affect it, and it can’t wash it out or get diluted. In fact, the grease-like consistency of FunnelWeb oil actually.
