Which PROLINX Size Do I Need?

Nuetech PROLINX is sized by your tire’s brand, model and size plus your rim width, not by your bike. There are five sets: PROLX-220, PROLX-235, PROLX-285, PROLX-305 and PROLX-325. Find your exact tire and rim width on the PROLINX sizing chart and order the set it lists.

How to Read the PROLINX Sizing Chart

The sizing chart has five columns: Tire Brand, Tire Model, Tire Size, Rim Width and PROLINX. Each row is one tire model in one size on one rim width.

• Step 1: Find your tire brand.
• Step 2: Find the exact tire model. Compounds are listed separately, so a soft and a medium version of the same tire can have different rows.
• Step 3: Find your tire size.
• Step 4: Find your rim width. The chart lists 1.6, 1.85, 2.15 and 2.5.
• Step 5: Read the PROLINX column. That’s the set to order.

Finding Your Rim Width

Nuetech’s FAQ says rim width can be different on different bikes and is usually stamped onto the rim, but not always. Nuetech also says you need to know it because the rim width can change which mousse you need. You can see that on the chart: the DUNLOP AT81 RC 120/90-18 is PROLX-305 on a 1.85 or 2.15 rim and PROLX-325 on a 2.5 rim.
