The Zero Resistance Throttle for KTM/HQV/Berg/Beta/Gas Gas is a revolutionary new Patented Dual Bearing Throttle assembly. The ZR Throttle will give you that new bike feeling – forever. With traditional plastic throttle tubes, the weight of the rider either pushing or pulling on the throttle creates friction. Over time the throttle and handlebars deteriorate and need replacement. With ZR Throttle bearings, the friction is eliminated, making your no-stick throttle assembly ultra-smooth and tough. The ZR Throttle is virtually a maintenance free throttle tube – and it’s made in the USA.
How does it work?
Simply put, there are 2 radial ball bearings on each end of the tube. One located inside the throttle housing and one on the end of the handle bars. The bearing on the end of the bars gets mounted with a reverse expansion collet that will give the bearing a good solid connection to the handle bar. This also creates a special bottoming point for the throttle tube. When the throttle gets pushed against the bearing, the bearing in turn pushes against the handle bars. This creates a solid throttle end that cannot be damaged, and gives the throttle assembly ultra smooth action and life long longevity.
Is it tough?
Oh yes it is – tough as nails. It has been tested by the best that the North East Off Road scene has to offer. Just ask guys like Johnny Girror, Kyle Hangos, Jason Connell, Curt White, and Pro National MX Rider Corey Ride. All of these guys run open-ended handguards: their throttle end is exposed and they need a reliable throttle that will not break on them if they crash.
Can you use wrap-around handguards?
Yes. ZRT offers kits for both wrap-around and open-ended handguards.

- Barkbuster Bar Ends – ZRT makes a bar end out of Stainless Steel specifically for wrap-around handguards.
Is there additional protection for open-ended handguards?
Yes. ZRT also offers GP Bar Ends (sold separately). They are Aluminum Bar End Protectors that utilize the same reverse expansion collet set up. Super strong and will protect your bars, throttle and grips.
NOTE: In order to install the Zero Resistance Throttle you must cut off a small section from the throttle side of your handlebars.
