Castrol SRF Racing Brake Fluid is a world-class, high-performance brake fluid engineered specifically for the extreme demands of motorsport and racing. Leveraging Castrol’s patented silicon ester technology, this fluid offers superior thermal stability, exceptional resistance to vapor lock, and long-term performance even under severe braking conditions.
- Ultra-high boiling points:
- Dry – 325 °C (617 °F)
- Wet – 270 °C (518 °F)
- Unique silicon ether technology absorbs less water than conventional glycol ether fluids
- Premier fluid for hydraulic brakes
- Exceptional vapor lock resistance
- Mixes with DOT 3 and DOT 4
Note: Not compatible with braking systems that require mineral-oil-based fluid.
Note 2: While SRF is miscible with conventional DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids, mixing will degrade its high-performance characteristics. It’s strongly advised to fully flush out older fluid before switching to SRF.
Note 3: Store in a cool, dry place. According to the manufacturer, fluid should be changed every 18 months to maintain its vapor lock resistance.
