Renthal MX Lock-On Grips
Renthal MX Lock-On Grips are the latest technical development from the world’s most successful MX Grip manufacturer. Synonymous with success, Renthal has ported across the most popular compounds and patterns into a Motocross Lock-On Grip. The initial offering comprises of the four most popular compounds. Available in the original Soft and Medium compounds or the R-Works (premium) Aramid and Ultratacky compounds in Full Diamond, Half Waffle and Tapered patterns.

Patterns:
- The Half Waffle pattern, the most popular pattern, provides the perfect mixture of waffle and diamonds. It provides additional grip at the finger tips whilst the contact patch remains uninterrupted and comfortable across the palm.
- The Tapered pattern features a unique tapered pattern designed to replicate the shape of a closed fist, oversized diamonds taper down to a regular diamond size to help improve traction between rider and machine. Additionally, a half waffle provides extra grip in key areas.
- The Full Diamond pattern is uninterrupted by waffles offering a comfortable contact patch with an impressive level of grip control in dry conditions. The smaller outer diameter of the full diamond pattern makes the grip feel like they have a smaller diameter without actually being smaller.
Compounds:
- Aramid: the most advanced grip compound to date. Millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® brand resin particles are suspended in the base material. As the grip is used, more of these particles are exposed, resisting wear whilst retaining a tacky feel.
- Ultratacky: unique properties provide a stronger bond to the handlebar, meaning you are able to control the bike with less physical input.
- Soft: constructed from a soft rubber base material that is designed for outstanding comfort and impact absorption. The material provides a comfortable and tactile interface between rider and machine.
- Medium: the firmest rubber used in the Renthal MX Lock-On Grip range. This compound results in a longer lasting, more durable grip whilst also providing tactile and impact absorbing interface.
Fits:
Every pack of Renthal MX Lock-On Grips comes with a selection of throttle cams to fit most modern 2 and 4 Stroke Machines. KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas models reuse the OE cam. For a full list of cam fitment, click here.
