Key Switch Eliminator Plug/Dongle for `17-21 KTM, Husqvarna
Key Switch Eliminator Plug will quickly remove and eliminate the O.E.M. key switch. Simple plug in installation, the fuel pump kicks on and pressurizes the system with a tap of the start button.
NOTE: You must unplug the O.E.M. key switch before installing the SA26-234 for it to work properly. The key switch eliminator is NOT the same as leaving the key on, it actually bypasses and eliminates the key (you have to unplug the key switch from the wiring harness for the SA26-234 to work properly). The SA26-234 re-routes how the power is delivered to the fuel pump. On 2017-19 EXC-Fs the fuel pump power is routed through the stock key switch, key on = fuel pump powered up. This is why the battery goes flat when the key is left on. With the SA26-234 installed the power to the fuel pump is re-routed through a relay already on the bike that is activated when you tap the start button.
