Motorex Chain Lube for Adventure and Off-Road
Chain lube adventure is a special chain lubricant that impresses both in everyday use and on long tours thanks to its numerous advantages. The white chain lubricant works brilliantly when off road due to its water-resistant and dust-repellent characteristics. At the same time, it does not compromise on performance when touring. Maximum adhesion is achieved through the special formulation, meaning the rear wheel rim remains clean even at high speeds – and on long trips. As it uses PTFE, chain lube adventure reduces wear across the entire chain drive and also ensures reliable, long-lasting protection of the inside of the chain against corrosion thanks to its outstanding penetration application.
Chain lube off road is fully synthetic, wear-reducing chain and bowden cable lubricant. Tested and found suitable for use in O, X, Z-ring chains. Particularly suitable for cross country, enduro and off road use. Clear color and available in a mini-can.
Best results are achieved when the chain has been warmed up before cleaning and lubrication. The old chain grease becomes less viscous in warm conditions, making it easier to clean using the CHAIN CLEAN DEGREASER. When lubricating, the effect of the warm chain is also clearly noticeable and chain lube adventure can get into the gaps more easily.
WHAT ARE BIODEGRADABLE LUBRICANTS?
This means the biochemical decomposition of organic chemical compounds accelerated by microorganisms. Microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, etc. bring about biological degradation through what is termed bio-oxidation. This occurs in several stages, producing carbon dioxide, water, protein cell material and multiplication of micro-organisms.
