The Slavens Mule TPS Guard protects the expensive ($353 USD) throttle position sensor (TPS) from becoming damaged during a crash or from a stick flipping up and striking the flimsy plastic cover. Note: Other guards on the market require both TPS screws to be removed for installation. When the screws are removed the TPS falls out and the TPS value may be altered. The Slavens Mule TPS guard leaves one screw intact so the TPS value remains at the O.E.M. setting and this also makes installation much simpler. No juggling multiple items while installing screws = simple installation.
