WP Cone Valve Technology

With current MX forks a lot of compression damping is required. To create better comfort, most suspension tuners concentrate on changing the check valve setting.

Previous check valve settings have been a compromise between:

• Enough comfort
• Enough damping
• A durable shim setting (sometimes damping is lost by shims becoming bent)

The NEW WP CONE valve solves this problem :

Even though operating pressures and temperatures in motorcycles are moderate when compared to a car or truck, there are some specific factors to be considered. 
Enduro or motocross forks are the most demanding applications due to a long stroke, high speed and contaminated operating conditions. In addition, there are special dust protection requirements due to the exposed position of the fork and the absence of protective bellows.

In these applications the rider is in direct contact with the front suspension via the handlebars. Therefore, the smoothness of fork movement is vital, as it has a considerable impact on steering behavior.

The kit was designed and is used by Jeff Slavens for mountain riding. Includes the Slavens Mtn. Needle, 2 pilot jets, 2 main jets, and basic instructions with settings. The settings are listed for 6500’-12,000 MOUNTAIN USE ONLY. NO OTHER SETTINGS WILL BE PROVIDED.

The reason that it works so much better than any other splitting device is simple. Air velocity increases when running along a surface. The carburetor only has two surfaces, the opposite sides of the bore and in the middle of the bore velocity is at its lowest. Other carburetor air splitting devices currently available offer four surfaces. Each side of the bore and each side of the wing. The Bullseye provides twelve surfaces. Each chamber has three surfaces, times four chambers. The velocity is three times greater than that of competing devices.

Not only does it reduce the incoming air turbulence, but the velocity is increased at all throttle openings. The results of the Bullseye are more power everywhere, bottom to top, not just on the bottom like other carburetor splitting devices.

There is increased throttle response at all throttle openings and less chance of stalling in tight, low rpm situations. The increased velocity requires leaner jetting that improves fuel mileage.

Nuetech TUbliss® is essentially a high pressure rim lock and seal that secures the entire tire bead to the rim, completely eliminating the use of a conventional tube. It allows you to run a low tire pressure (as low as 6 psi) which dramatically improves traction; especially important for off-road riding and racing. Since there's no conventional tube the days of pinched tubes and flats are over!

Even if you get a tire puncture the bead stays seated to the rim. The 120 psi inner bladder literally clamps the entire bead and side wall of the tire to the rim, providing full bead lock performance around the full circumference of the rim. The seal is formed against the inside of the tire itself, not the rim, so it holds the tire firmly and makes the sidewalls stay upright and absorb the full impact, unlike bending and deflection you get with conventional tubes. Because of the design, Nuetech TUbliss® will even work with the most dented, dinged, or tweaked rim.
